Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa — Punta de Mita

Set along a private stretch of coastline in Punta de Mita, Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa pairs golden-sand beaches with lush tropical gardens and sweeping Pacific Ocean views — a setting that photographs beautifully in every kind of light. Couples celebrating their Punta de Mita wedding can exchange vows beachfront, in the resort's classic chapel, or on an ocean-view terrace as the sky turns gold at sunset. With five distinct ceremony settings on the property, from intimate garden pergolas to open-air seaside terraces, this Punta de Mita wedding venue adapts to nearly any vision — and it's one we know well after documenting real celebrations here as Punta de Mita wedding photographers.

Villa Valentin

Tucked into the lush hillsides above Sayulita, Villa Valentin is a private tropical estate that has become one of the most sought-after settings for a Sayulita destination wedding. The villa sits above the jungle canopy with sweeping views of the Pacific, and the light here does something different — soft and golden in the early morning, deep and dramatic by sunset, which makes it one of our favorite venues to photograph on the Riviera Nayarit coast.

As Sayulita wedding photographers, we're drawn to venues where the setting does as much storytelling as the couple does, and Villa Valentin consistently delivers that. Whether it's a barefoot ceremony at golden hour or quiet portraits in the jungle light, this hillside estate offers no shortage of backdrops for timeless, editorial wedding photography in Sayulita.

La Gran Villa

Perched atop the point with uninterrupted whitewater ocean views, La Gran Villa is one of Sayulita's most iconic wedding settings. A handcrafted stone fountain, towering traveler's palms, and fragrant plumeria trees frame the ceremony patio, creating a lush, tropical backdrop that feels worlds away — while still just steps from town. With room for up to 120 guests, this Sayulita wedding venue offers sweeping views and golden-hour light that make it one of our favorite places to shoot along the coast.

Hacienda Antigua | Lo de Marcos, Nayarit

Just north of Sayulita, near Lo de Marcos, Hacienda Antigua sits on 12 private acres of jungle and ocean-view hillside. Built with reclaimed materials from centuries-old Mexican haciendas — hand-carved doors, weathered stone, colonial archways — it has a sense of history no new construction could replicate, making it one of our favorite backdrops for documentary-style wedding photography.

The gated estate hosts up to 150 guests across an open-air palapa, a courtyard with unobstructed ocean views, and an authentic cantina for late-night celebrating, with intimate on-site lodging for the couple and closest family. As Lo de Marcos wedding photographers, we love the relaxed, lived-in energy this venue brings — long tables, golden sunsets, and a setting that feels reserved just for you.
